Skills programmes

Learnerships that finish, and learners who find work.

We run and rescue learnership, apprenticeship and Youth Employment Service (YES) programmes so completion and placement targets are met, and the paperwork is ready for verification.

Funding and grants

Grants managed so the next tranche arrives on time.

From the proposal and budget to milestone, tranche and close-out reports, we help non-profit companies and training providers win funding and keep it.

Governance

Controls and reporting that make audits straightforward.

Policies, risk registers and board packs sized to your organisation, so your team can keep them running after we step back.

Led by Monique Enaohwo: nine years running funded programmes from the inside

Monique has recruited learners, kept host employers on board, reported to funders and taken programmes through audits with zero findings.

The Governance Bridge brings that experience to companies, training providers, non-profits and community trusts, in South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana. Every engagement is led by Monique and delivered with a team of experienced specialists matched to the work.

Learnerships and Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment

Why learnerships lose points at verification

The training is rarely the problem. Points are lost on paperwork put together at the end: attendance registers that do not match stipend payments, unsigned host-employer agreements, and drop-outs who were not replaced in time. Build the evidence file from week one and reconcile it monthly.

Grant funding

What funders check before the next tranche

Progress against the milestones in your agreement, spending that matches the budget (or a clear reason why not), proof that learners are registered, and an honest word about risks before they become problems. Get those four right and tranches tend to follow.

Placement

Placement starts on day one

Programmes with strong placement rates line up employers before recruitment, teach work readiness alongside technical skills, and track every learner after training ends. Leaving placement to the final month rarely works.

If your programme, grant or board pack is keeping you up at night, we would be glad to talk it through.
